Three things determine
What factors affect the price of a wheel alignment?
Most cars fall within the price range shown in the list above. The reason one car costs more than another is usually down to one of three factors.
How many wheels need to be measured. A front-wheel alignment is sufficient for many cars, but the rear suspension affects how the car handles just as much as the front suspension. If the rear suspension is adjustable, we recommend a full four-wheel alignment — this is why a front and rear alignment costs more than just a front one.
How much adjustment is required. Sometimes the wheel angles are only a few tenths off. Sometimes it’s a worn steering link or a car that’s hit a kerb at slightly too high a speed. We always take measurements first and let you know before we do anything that affects the price.
The type of vehicle in question. Motorhomes, vans and electric cars take longer and require more space, and on some electric cars, the underrun protection and panels must be removed before the measurement can be taken. That’s why it says ‘call for a quote’ for special vehicles — not because we want to avoid the question, but because we’d rather give you an accurate figure for your specific vehicle.

Profitable in the long run
That’s why a wheel alignment is worth it
Wheel alignment is a one-off cost. Incorrectly aligned wheels cost you money with every mile you drive.
If the wheels are out of alignment, the tyres wear unevenly and much faster — replacing a set of tyres prematurely can quickly cost more than the alignment itself. You’ll also experience poorer road holding and higher fuel consumption, as the wheels are literally slowing each other down.
If the steering wheel is out of alignment after a wheel alignment carried out by us, we’ll correct it free of charge. This isn’t a special offer; it’s simply how we’ve always operated.
If you’re going to change your tyres anyway, it’s usually worth having the wheel alignment done during the same visit. New tyres on misaligned wheels will wear just as unevenly as the old ones — and you’ll avoid having to drive here twice. This is the most common combination our customers opt for.

Do you need to have the wheels aligned when changing tyres?
No, it’s not a requirement. But it’s often a good idea. If you fit new tyres to wheels that are misaligned, the new tyres will wear just as unevenly as the old ones, and you’ll have paid for a set of tyres that you won’t get the full lifespan out of. We recommend having this checked if it’s been more than a couple of years since the last time, or if you’ve noticed that the car is pulling to one side.
How much does it cost to change tyres on the rims?
Changing complete wheels — that is, tyres that are already fitted to the rim — costs 350 kr with us. If a new tyre is to be fitted to an existing rim, this is a different service that requires both removal and balancing. Give us a call and we’ll work out the cost based on the size and number.
How much does it cost to balance four tyres?
Give us a call and we’ll give you a fixed price. Tyres are always balanced when a new tyre is fitted to the rim, and balancing is also required if a balance weight has come loose — which is noticeable as vibrations in the steering wheel at higher speeds.
How much does it cost to repair a puncture?
It depends on where the damage is on the tyre. A hole in the tread can often be repaired safely. If the damage is on the sidewall, the tyre must not be repaired at all, regardless of the cost — it must be replaced. We always assess the tyre first and let you know what needs to be done before we take any action.
How much do four new tyres cost?
Prices vary considerably depending on size and quality, so it’s not possible to provide a fixed price list. Tell us how and how much you drive, and we’ll recommend the grade that suits you best — not necessarily the most expensive one. We always provide a quote before placing an order.
