From 1 December, winter tyres are compulsory in winter road conditions, and this requirement remains in force until 31 March. October and November are the busiest weeks of the year at tyre centres — if you book early, you’ll get a time that suits you rather than one that’s left over.

Heavy vehicles need the right alignment

A motorhome weighs considerably more than a car and often covers long distances fully loaded. If the wheels are out of line, the tyres wear quickly and unevenly, and the vehicle gets harder to keep straight – especially in a crosswind. Wheel alignment has been our speciality since 1976, and we are happy to take the vehicles other workshops send elsewhere.



Check the tyres before the season

Motorhome tyres often age before they wear out, since the vehicle stands still for much of the year. Look for cracks in the sidewalls and check the manufacturing year before the first trip.

Nybrons Framvagnsinställning has been aligning wheels in Borås since 1976. The workshop is at Södra Däckvägen 3 in Nordskogen, and our equipment is always calibrated and updated with exact values. We take cars and special vehicles – motorhomes, electric cars and vans are all welcome.

Do you take motorhomes?

How much does a motorhome wheel alignment cost?

It depends on the model and size, and an extra charge compared with a car may apply. Call for a price for your motorhome.

Why does alignment matter so much on a motorhome?

A motorhome is heavy and often travels long distances fully loaded. If the wheels are out of line, the tyres wear quickly and the vehicle is harder to keep straight, especially in a crosswind.

How can I tell if the alignment is off?

The vehicle pulls to one side, the steering wheel is crooked when driving straight, or the tyres wear unevenly. If you notice any of these, book a measurement.

When should I have my motorhome aligned?

Ideally before the season, ahead of the first long trip. If the motorhome has hit a kerb or a deep pothole, it is worth measuring straight away.

What if the steering wheel is crooked after the alignment?

Then we put it right free of charge. That applies to motorhomes just as it does to cars.

How old can motorhome tyres be?

There is no legal limit, but motorhome tyres often age before they wear out. Check the manufacturing year on the sidewall and look for cracks.

Do you change tyres on motorhomes?

Yes. Call with the model for a price and a time for a tyre change.

Does a motorhome need winter tyres in Sweden?

If you drive in winter road conditions between 1 December and 31 March, the winter tyre requirement applies to motorhomes up to 3.5 tonnes too. Call and we will help you with the right tyres.

At Södra Däckvägen 3 in the Nordskogen industrial area of Borås. Turn in at Stena Metall and continue further in – we are on the inside of the area.
